Meditation is an act of "ego" destruction paving the way forward to awareness, compassion, and rebirth.

 

In Buddhism, Karuna is a word that generally translates to "compassion" which can be understood to imply active sympathy. In another sense, it is a willingness to take on the pain of others.

Compassion is a tool of Evolution.
